We can repair (almost) any brand of wheels to get them riding like new
Most wheels can be repaired and we can use our 25 years of wheel building experience to restore your broken wheel to be ridden again. If your wheel is suffering from any of the following problems get in touch to check what we can do to repair it:
broken spokes
cracked or buckled rim
broken hub
cracked spoke nipples
A lot of wheels can be repaired using standard components, and we can repair a lot of these wheels from parts held in stock. Some wheels require components from the original manufacturer if they are non-standard and for these we would usually need to order a part in. For example many Mavic wheels use proprietary spokes. Most hubs can be repaired but again will require specific parts.
We can give an estimate of repair cost once we see the wheel, repairs are charged at a rate of £15 per 20 minutes. Repair time will depend on the condition of the wheel and the difficulty of the job but some examples of typical repair times on clean, good condition wheels are:
broken spoke 20 minutes including retrue
hub service / clean / bearing change 30-45 minutes
rim replacement 60-90 minutes
