A 340g, 24.4mm wide rim from NoTubes. The Crest will be the replacement for the ZTR 355.

At around 340g (actual average weighed by us: 345g) for the 26" version, the Crest is lighter than the 355 which it replaces. It uses the next generation BST (bead socket). A wider inside rim cavity with shorter sidewalls means improved tyre performance at equivalent pressures as well as decreased pinch flats.

The Crest does not require a rimstrip to run tyres tubeless. We have tested it with both standard and UST Maxxis tyres, and both inflated easily with a track pump using the 25mm yellow tape and an Olympic valve stem.

The 29er version is easily the lightest available, at a claimed 370g. We weighed a few here and they were between 361g and 369g.

Use either 21mm or 25mm yellow tape for this rim. We recommend 25mm as it gives
better coverage of the surface and it's less likely the tyre will disturb the seal when you're fitting it. Pull it tightly to get it to sit neatly in the rim.
