Brand new, ultra-lightweight XC race rim from NoTubes. Under 290g.

Brand new for 2010, the Podium MMX rim is a development of the hugely successful Race rims.  Weighing in at under 290g per rim they build a superlight wheelset whilst still being wide enough to hold tyres in a great profile.  Sub 1230g wheelsets are easily achievable.

Designed to run non-UST tyres without tubes they feature the next generation bead hook and ultra low profile sidewalls to keep the tyre firmly seated at all times and virtually eliminate pressure loss through burping .

As a full-on XC race rim, they have a limited lifespan of 3000-5000 miles depending on the rider and also have a recommended rider weight limit of 170lbs but will provide the best performance possible.

You need to seal the rim with tape such as the 25mm Yellow spoke sealing tape to make them airtight and use an Olympic valve for running them tubeless.  They can also be used with tubes if necessary.

• Intended for low pressure use, 15 - 33 PSI with 2.0 tyres

• Tubeless compatible using NoTubes 25mm wide yellow tape and Olympic valve stems (no rimstrip needed. UST tyres are usually too tight on these rims).
