Justridingalong: Wheel rebuild & repair
We like to look after our wheels (and customers) so if you've bought a wheelset from Just Riding Along and it's come to need some TLC, you can return it to us for our rebuild and repair service.
These services are only available for wheels built by us.
Time
Repairs are booked into the next available date on the calendar when they arrive with us. This can be up to 2 weeks at busy periods.
Workshop Charges
full retrue = £25 + parts (a used wheel)
part retrue = £15 + parts (e.g a new wheel with one broken spoke.)
part retrue = £15 + parts (e.g a new wheel with one broken spoke.)
freehub / bearings =POA
Return postage is £8 within the UK.
Rim Rebuilds
Trashed the rim of a wheel you bought from us? Then you can have it rebuilt using the same spokes as long as they're in good condition.

- Nipples We will always use new spoke nipples so prices below include whatever was originally on the wheels.
- Do Not Undo the spokes To re-use the same spokes we will need you to send the complete wheel, please do not dismantle it or we'll have to use new spokes and the full rebuild prices will apply.
Warning
If the wheels have been 'tampered with' by other parties that have done more damage than the original problem you will be charged accordingly. If you or your bike shop are not confident in what you are doing doing please send it back before further damage occurs!
Please note
- We can only rebuild wheels using the same spokes that were originally bought from us.
- Please clean the wheel and remove disk rotors, quick releases, tyres and cassette as they can get damaged in the post and inccur extra cost in the workshop.
