hub widths help

This page is to help you find out if  you need Boost or non-boost hubs on your disk wheel set.

Non-boost / standard
Are used older mountain bikes and some gravel and road-disk bikes.
They measure 100mm on the front hub and 135mm or 142mm on the rear hub.

Boost
Are used on all new mountain bikes and some gravel and road-disk bikes.
They measure 110mm on the front hub and 148mm on the rear hub.

Boost 141mm

To find out if your current hubs are boost or non-boost you need to remove the wheels from the bike and measure the whole width of the hubs.

The 110mm boost measurement is taken from the ends of the end-caps.
